I was born 1987 in Lycksele, northern Sweden and found my interests in digital media at a very young age. The family NES was one main source of my love for video games, where some of my absolute favorites still stands strong, such as Super Mario 3, Mike Tysons Punch out, Ice Climbers and much more.
A part from video games, me and my brothers loved to make stupid short films with our mothers camcorder where we mainly focused our stories that could contain a lot of special effects.
With influences from Peter Jacksons earlier masterpieces such as "Bad Taste", and "Braindead" we created our own blood recipes and played around with firecrackers to get some funny gore'y results.
With our first home computer, an Amiga 1200 i got my first experience in digital drawing and animation with the software True Brilliance, drawing pixel by pixel. It was great and creative childhood.
It was a natural choice for me to study art at high school. After high school I got my bachelor degree in Digital Media Production at Umeå University and then studied at film school Kalix Folkhögskola.
I started my own company as a film contractor around that time and worked on a bunch of commercials, tv-spots, series and some feature films, even my own documentary that aired on Swedish national television in 2023.  In film work, I was mainly hired in the camera department, but also made some simple VFX and animation work.
In 2015, I started working in the video game industry with Coldwood Interactive on the exciting game Unravel. It was a blast! The game was something "right in my alley," and I learned so much working with the studio. After releasing its sequel, Unravel Two (2019), which was a success, Coldwood eventually split into several smaller studios.
I was part of the founding team behind Ånyo Studio, an ambitious new venture born from the talent and passion of former Coldwood developers. Unfortunately, due to the challenging climate in the games industry, the company was unable to sustain itself and eventually went bankrupt.
Currently, I work as a consultant for Windup Games, focusing on VFX. Alongside that, I’ve teamed up with some former colleagues to start a new game studio, MVRX Games, and we’re aiming to release our first title in 2027.
