A gameplay demo I made together with Dick, Morgan and Mikael (Now MVRX games) while between jobs. Inspired by John Carpenters movie The Thing we tried to create a horror scene in the arctic research station from the movie. During 3 months we developed this playable prototype for both flatscreen and VR, mostly to learn new things with Unreal.
One exciting thing I experimented with aside from my ordinary artist stuff (clothes, movie props, level design) was audio work. All audio was implemented by me, with use of open source sounds and fiddling with Unreals Meta sounds. Experimented with AI for the characters, since I made the voice over for all of them. Kind of regret doing that instead of just asking real people to do the voice over. Fun project nonetheless.
